Belated Gingerbread House

Yes, I'm frugal. No, not cheap....frugal. There IS a difference. That is why I was so excited to get two gingerbread house kits at Target during their after-Christmas clearance for only $2.50 each. Alison had been asking to make a gingerbread house all Christmas season, but since we would be traveling, I didn't do it. But - January staying at home + lots of time on our hands + a good sale = one splendid (and unique) gingerbread house.

I'm back.

Life has been crazy busy. My poor lil' Peanuts blog has fallen by the wayside, unfortunately. We are all good. Alison enjoys preschool (on most days) and has two very special little friends there, Anya and Caelyn. She is such a terrific, gentle little girl and is still obsessed with her princesses. Christopher is super active, smart and growing leaps and bounds every day. He loves to sing "Jingle Bells" and the ABCs. Oh, he's also started using the potty! We have at least four or five successful "#1s" each day and have had two momentous "#2s"!
