The Simple Pleasures in Life, According to the Peanuts

I've enjoyed trying to lead a "simpler" life these days. My kids are proof that it doesn't take much to have a lot of fun. For example:

Christopher found pure joy in two dollar store balloons (you have to pry them out of his hot little hands):

Alison has discovered a new pre-nap game of building "steps" with her books. She stacks up the books, finds a doll or figurine to walk down the steps, and then knocks them over (with assistance from her little brother). Notice the emptied-out bookshelves behind her:

Their dad brought the carseats into the house last weekend to adjust the straps to accomodate our growing Peanuts. Christopher's carseat provided Alison the perfect opportunity to play mama to her dolls for a good portion of the morning.
