Alison Renae - stylish as ever.

Christopher David a.k.a. "Lil' Man" - 2 months old.
Let's give this blogging thing a try. It will give this cooped-up stay-at-home mom something to do and allow us to keep in touch with family and friends. A word of warning: I am not tech-savvy whatsoever so this may be pretty simple.
Alison (20 months) and Christopher (9 weeks) are doing great. Ali loves her little brother and often showers him with hugs and kisses. So far, no big jealousy issues so the new baby transition has gone fairly easily. Chris is such a joy. He is a happy, BIG baby - already 13 lbs. and 26 inches long. Chris smiles a lot and is entertained by his big sister's antics.
We are dealing now with the January post-holiday, mid-winter, cooped-up-for-way-too-long blues. I try to take the kids to the mall, library, etc. Anywhere with an indoor play yard for Ali to run around a bit. My new favorite play place? MENARDS! Fun toys to play on and never crowded. (Actually, I have yet to see any other kids there. Am I the only mom to have discovered the joy the breaking out the double stroller for a weekly Menards outing??) Today we braved the cold and snow for Open Gym and library time at Hillcrest with our friends Rachael, Claudia and Wilson. So much fun and Ali got to burn off some toddler energy before lunch and naptime.
Ahhh...naptime.

Hi Holly:

Yea! I am so excited to read this blog! And we made it into the first posting-even more fun! I can't wait to follow along with the peanut antics! Hopefully, we will have many more antics together!
ReplyDeleteI think these children are the most adorable children in the world. Of course only Nana can say that and get away with it.
